The staff are friendly. The customers were loud like other pubs but they don't play loud music (when I visited on weekend) so I didn't have to shout with my friends. You can watch sports on big screen. It was a nice local pub.

Can never fault this pub. Always a pleasure to drink in whether busy or quiet. A friendly smiling person behind the bar and a relaxed environment. Moved away but still come back to drink and see faces even with a pub on my doorstep

Best proper pub in the area at reasonable prices (by today's standards). The guvnor and staff are friendly as are the locals.

A nice local pub populated by local people on the whole. Someone has put the wrong photos up though, they've put photos of the pub across the road.
