About Inn 1888
Warm 19th-century pub with wall tiles and etched mirrors, serving cask ales and hearty English fare.
Corner building dating from 1898; the 1888 refers to the Whitechapel murders in that year. Original Victorian features remain including many of the majolica walled tiles, half stained glass windows and etched mirrors. This is a CAMRA Heritage Pub and well worth visiting for the interior features.
There is a pizza menu for food. In common with many other pubs, there were reports that the ale range was reduced post-pandemic; further updates welcome.

Popped in for a quick bite whilst visiting my partner at King Edward Hospital and would definitely recommend the same for anyone else doing the same as it’s literally 100 or so yards up the road. Friendly and speedy service, great beer, great food and all a reasonable price. Is clearly a popular lunch spot for office and business workers too! Highly recommended

Great place. Fab staff and relaxed atmosphere. The website needs updating as the pizzas are pricier than listed. The pizzas are, however, glorious things, and it's 2-4-1 on Mondays

Went for a few relaxing drinks and that was exactly what I got. I'm 37 now and love the smaller (sometimes) quiet historic pubs that have a great atmosphere. They have two gas fire places to relax next to, if that's your thing! Bar staff are very welcoming and very friendly to talk to. Love this place and its certainly a gem in the paddington area. For recognition purposes these are the first names of the lovly staff that served me during my visit. Gabb and Enzo (Great guys)! You won't be disappointed 😌

The bar is excellent, and the beer is lovely. The pizza is one of the best I've ever had. All of this is great, but the most important thing is the staff, Enzo and Gabriel.

Inn 1888, a lovely pub in the heart of Marylebone. A good selection of keg beers and Moreland Original Bitter on cask. Great crowd of regulars with a sense of humour -all I can say is - No glasses were broken in the writing of this review! A fine place.
