About Prince Regent
Chic pub with chandelier, gold-framed mirrors and plush fabrics, plus bar menu and real ales.
Within the Harley Street Conservation Area, and one of two pubs that are listed, the now one room ground floor bar is pleasantly enough furnished in a faux-Regency style (the 'statement' chandeliers and and 'extravagant' gold-framed mirrors are a tad OTT) after a re-making in the 1990s. Further works in the early 2000's saw improvements that included a new back bar modelled on patterns of the Edwardian period. Tables and chairs are in an enclosed forecourt, with railings reinstated in 2009 on both the High Street and Nottingham Street frontages.
Two to four cask ales should be available depending on seasonal demand, plus a good range of keg beers.
The wide food offering includes bar snacks and Sunday roasts.

Updated review - A year on and the service was definitely more efficient. Staff were very helpful and gave the personal touch. Food was very tasty although presentation of the starters could have been better and larger portion sizes on some dishes for those with bigger appetites! The start dishes were to share. Great traditional pub with a buzz of busy conviviality emanating from the varied mix of patrons imbibing in this large but cozy venue. Just one thing let down The Prince Regent on my last visit - the service was at a snails pace with no sense of urgency from the bar staff. Outside…

My husband and I had a delicious meal at this pub "to Share Roast". Good drinks and fine selections of beers to taste. The team member Ali was so kind and lovely! There are some special rooms so it is possible to celebrate birthdays. If you are in London I reccommend this pub!

A nice pub. Only stopped in for one drink but it had a nice atmosphere in the pub and I could see myself spending a longer time in here. Service with a smile. Please upgrade your non alcohol choices though. Fresh juice options are much better for the prices you charge than out of a carton for non alcohol drinkers.

The Prince Regent is one of my favourite pubs. The lunch menu is varied and delicious. I have had the privilege of passing by on a few occasions and can't help popping in to catch a bite to eat. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. Even after a minor blip to business it was open within a few hours the same day, showing their efficacy of keeping things running. One of the better spots in London.

Great pub, great table given to group of 5 of us. Speedy lunch service and friendly staff. Good mocktails. Would highly recommend.
