About Kings Arms

Traditional British boozer with dark-wood beams and bars on 2 floors showing big-screen sport.

Pub with a curved frontage and a more conventional decor, having rid itself of its old English spit and sawdust layout. There is a first floor bar by, way of a curved staircase, which can be hired for functions. First licensed in 1742 and called the Three Jolly Butchers until 1785. The present pub dates from 1967. A Lilley's cider occupied the remaining handpump.

My family wandered in here while looking for a place to eat after a long day of being tourists. The food and service was excellent. Jon was our server. My dad and I had the steak and ale pie and my sister got the sirloin steak. The food was so tasty. I really enjoyed the berry cider he recommended and so did my family (they had to get one after having a sip of mine). Had the sticky toffee pudding for desert with ice cream. It was nice and quiet and not super crowded. If I’m ever back in London again I’ll make it a point to visit.

If you're looking for authentic English pub food in Mayfair, this is the place! We had the Steak 'n Ale pie with mash and gravy... and it was delicious. Along with a great selection of local draft beers, ciders, and wines, the service was genuinely hospitable. Our server Kai made us feel welcome and came over a number of times to ensure we were enjoying our meal. 5 stars for this historic English Pub!

Such an awesome experience. We had great food and service by Dane. We were able to get in after large table and order the last couple of Sunday Roasts as well as a fish and chip dish. We also tried their Level Head beer and that was great.

I was looking for authentic fish and chips, somewhere close to my hotel because I was exhausted. Kings Arms was such a fantastic find! I was sat upstairs straight away and attended to. Kai helped me out, gave me recommendations that were thoughtful, and was very friendly. Kai and Dane were taking care of all the upstairs area, working together to make sure everyone was taken care of. I loved the atmosphere, and was served a MASSIVE helping of fish. It was fantastic, hot and fresh. I went just around 7:00pm and while it was crowded with folks drinking outside, the inside wasn’t too bad.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Kings Arms for their Sunday beef roast, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Dane, our server for the afternoon, whose professionalism and friendliness set the tone for a delightful dining experience. Dane was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our needs were met throughout our meal without being intrusive. The beef roast itself was nothing short of spectacular. The beef was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor…
