About Rose & Crown

Pub dating back 400 years with dark wood decor and cask ale, offering British pub food upstairs.

A friendly single-room pub with rear stairs leading to a dining/overspill seating area. Four handpumps although recently the IPA clip has been duplicated.

Handily placed if you want to visit the Wellington Museum at Apsley House and usually less busy with tourists than the neighbouring Hard Rock cafe.

We came in here because the wait at the hard Rock Cafe was over an hour. The friendly lady greeted us and let us settle down. We chose steak and ale pie with triple cooked chips and a Korean bbq chicken burger with chips. A pint of cider and a j20 came to £40. The food took quite a while to arrive, just over 30 minutes and the pub was not busy. The chips weren't very nice but everything else was ok. The pub is a very old pub, over 400 years, but it didn't seem to show any original features off. Overall it was ok but could of been a lit better.. thanks for replying. Ill pop in next time I'm…

Cosy and very old pub restaurant just a short walk from Hyde Park. Tasty food. We had fish and chips and the salmon and cheddar fish cakes.

We visited this pub for dinner, it's a good spot to watch sport with friends. We tried a the steak sandwich which was good but the bread was burned. The burger had also burned bread but was really tasty. The salad was simple and the chicken was so dry. But the beer was good!

Visited this pub on a Wednesday evening, there was a nice chilled atmosphere. Tucked into the Rose & Crown Burger which was nice classic burger with a great addition of a tender piece of pork belly. Shout out to the team on shift (James, Beyoncé and Sam). Great, attentive service!
