Relaxed lodging in a down-to-earth pub with rooms offering informal dining & free Wi-Fi.
A large, much loved and well patronised 1906 pub and hotel. Situated at a crossroads the sun pours in during the day, with an evening ambience of casual and well thought out elegance. It has a popular dining area separate from the bar, serving good quality food. The garden area is quite a suntrap plus in summer there is also outside seating to the front of the pub. The bar area is pleasantly uncluttered though there is still a mixture of open and more private areas. Look out for the railway themed area, complete with train-carriage-like luggage racks and old suitcases. The regular beers are from Timothy Taylor. Leased from Greene King, the pub was acquired by Young's as pub operator from Redcomb Pubs in January 2019.

This hotel and pub were fantastic! The staff were superb—friendly, courteous, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The surrounding area is beautiful, with no parking issues at all. You can easily leave your car and spend the rest of your break exploring on foot, or hop on a train from the station, which is just less than 100 meters away. Highly recommended!

Came here for a Sunday roast. Between us we had the chicken, pork, and beef roasts, and a burger. The food was amazing, with one of us saying it was the best chicken they'd ever had. Added to this, the portion sizes were good, and the roasts are reasonably priced (for London). The service was great too, as the staff knew we had a train to catch at 1, so made sure they took our orders before the kitchen opened at 12. Will definitely be coming back.

It was a lovely visit as an Artist. The staff are attentive. The manager - Neil is approachable and hands on the front desk. I look forward to starting the Mindful Chinese Calligraphy session at the Station hotel. This is an initiative alongside the Station Art Market starting last month. Hope you will enjoy your visit as much as mine.

Thank you Station Hotel A great place to stay. A lovely old building, very welcoming decor and friendly helpful staff. The room was comfortable with everything we needed for a short stay and the evening meal and breakfast freshly cooked and delicious. We will use this hotel on future visits to London.

Everything about this place set a new standard for pubs and hotels for me everything was perfect. The rooms were everything you can ask for at a reasonable price, Convenient location right next to the station, Fantastic service where the staff go above and beyond for you. Destiny was amazing and put forth effort to make sure we enjoyed our visit. Neil took care of everything and was excellent will definitely be making sure I come here again.
