So we stopped here for a wee and ended up having one of their fine drinks selection and food. The lamb was orgasmic and we sent back an entre which they replaced promptly by the peri wing. The whole thing was executed beautifully down to the lemon in the water and the lave-main. You feel welcome here and I simply recommend

This pub was a great spot. I’ve recently been doing the city stack, and it’s great to see the independent pubs are still alive. They need your support, the Waverley Arms had great service, the food was awesome (Wednesday steak special was on point) and the beers were great. Get down and support the independent pubs before they’re all gone!

12 of us celebrated 3 family birthdays with Sunday Lunch at The Waverley Arms. This was our first visit to the pub. We received a warm and friendly welcome from staff, we were early for our booked table so we managed to get a seat and a member of staff took our drinks order and bought it over. The pub is large, bright and airy and extremely busy with families enjoying Sunday Lunches. Tables are set very close together. Dogs are also welcome. There is a garden outside. Food was good and flavoursome and staff were attentive to our requirements. Many thanks for making our triple…

We held my mums wake here on 21/11/24 in a private area. I can't thank the pub enough for their service and ensuring everyone had drinks at all times. We ordered a simple buffet of a selection of sandwiches and chips, which were plentiful and tasty. It's a nice traditional pub and I would be happy if it were my local.
