Very unfriendly staff management committees utterly inafective and hypocritical, and needs replacing which would be difficult as it appears the chair and secretary no longer have to be elected in hence no change .racist language at bar goes unchallenged which is unforgivable no wonder black people do not go, handed back my membership card would never step inside this establishment again or recommend its a totally badly run club and it never used to be like this.

This is a great club and great venue, with friendly and hospitable staff serving drinks at club prices. I have had the pleasure of frequenting this club a few times over the last couple of weeks and been served by some lovely pleasant staff. A lovely facility where locals of all ages can come together for a quiet drink and chat or some live entertainment. A venue that the locals should be making more use of.

I figured I would give this a go as all my work colleagues seem to go here and to be honest absolutely disappointed. Dated, dark interior and the service was terrible. Was really frustrated at how one of the staff was clearly ignoring coloured customers and would serve white people immediately even if they had just walked right up to the bar and ignoring us who had been waiting for over 20 minutes! I would have given this place a 1 if not for the other staff member who by the way was an absolute treat with such a happy demeanor saw our plight and came from across the other side of the area…
