About Angel & Crown

Period pub with bare brick walls, offering sport TV, craft lager, cask ales & British food.

An unspoiled traditional side street pub just off Richmond's busy town centre High Street. Beer garden at rear. Gets very busy when football is screened. There is a private-hire function area at the back. Built in 1547 it has once a Post Office, then a sweet shop and has been a Fuller’s pub since 1876. Every Monday night is ‘Open Mic’ night from 8pm. In February 2019 the pub has a new licensee.

Staff here is great! They have a tapas lunch special during the day. 3 tapas for £13.5 The Smoked chicken croquettes were good, the king prawn comes with lots of chorizo though it doesn't quite come together, and the trio of mushrooms (3 types of mushrooms cooked/boiled together) was okay though excessively salted. Still worth the money but not high end though perfect for us as a small lunch meal for 2.

One of the cosiest pubs in Richmond. Comfortable, quiet and great to chill out. Amstel pint was a bit overpriced but great overall. Friendly service.

The Angel and Crown, tucked away on Church Lane in Richmond is a simple gem of a place, part of the Fuller's empire. It is a small one and a bit roomed pub with a great range of cask and keg ales/beers/ciders to keep us all happy. Great staff offering great service. A most enjoyable place to visit.

Lovely little pub that I never knew existed in Richmond. Very friendly and attentive staff. It is a great dog friendly pub! The food was tasty, and the pints were refreshing. Look forward to coming back :-)
