A lovely Wimbledon pub with a real country feel to it. The Crooked Billet, close to the Kings School is clearly popular and well loved by everyone. Plenty of families enjoying lunch and many a pint being savoured. A great place to visit.

Not some pseudo nightclub portraying itself as a pub, nor is it reserved for grizzled men with a chronic squint. Everyone will feel welcome here at the Crooked Billet, and there is plenty of seating and a nice dining area in the back.

We came all the way from Australia to this particular pub because we were told it is amazing. It absolutely is. Everything you could imagine for a traditional English pub with wonderful food, delightful, friendly, and professional service and magnificent ambience. Worth the visit to Wimbledon.

Great venue, bright and spacious, family friendly. The staff are helpful, but the menu quite limited. Besides the scotched Egg that's served as part of the ploughman's sharer, we weren't very impressed with the food. The pub should definitely offer the scotched Egg on its own as it's delicious. The crooked Billet Burger was bland and the double patties had no moisture. The accompanying fries were well cooked though, great crisp on the outside. The fish pie was extremely salty, way over seasoned, I would give that a big miss. Would happily return for a drink but will think twice about…

Great place for a drink. If any sunshine!!!! Grab a deckchair plot on the green out front with a drink...Perfect! Pub itself is clean and fresh but still holds the feel of its traditional look and feel. Large open bar/restaurant area. Staff friendly
