About Greyhound

Warm tavern with plush seating & a spacious patio offering hearty British pub grub & pints.

The Greyhound re-opened in 2011 as a Wetherspoon's pub following extensive refurbishment, after having been closed in 2006. This rapidly became a popular town centre venue attracting a wide range of customers. The layout of the pub forms an L-shape, with a wooden floored long bar at the entrance of the pub and a larger carpeted area more orientated to diners at the rear. The overall area is deceptively large with plenty of tables. The back entrance is handy for Sainsbury's.

The upper terrace for outside drinking is reached via a long flight of steps at the end of the long dining area. This consists of a variety of tables and chairs, some under cover, with a scenic view over the Sainsbury's car park. When open, this is obliged to close at 9 pm.

Decent Wetherspoon in Bromley. Huge pub about 5x the size you'd expect from the outside, so has plenty of seating. Very affordable drinks especially on a Monday. I went there for a work night out and the service was efficient and friendly. Cant really ask for more.

The Greyhound Pub in Bromley offers a delightful experience that perfectly blends a warm atmosphere with excellent service. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a cozy and inviting environment, complete with rustic decor and a charming ambiance that sets the stage for a relaxing outing. What truly stood out during my visit was the exemplary service provided by Owen, one of the servers. He was incredibly attentive and genuinely seemed to care about ensuring that every guest had a memorable experience. No request was too much trouble for him; whether it was providing…

When they had a gin and tonic. good price? Didn't give any stars because I didn't have any food. Recommend. Try it for yourself. Had a really nice large breakfast today 😋 Today I had some chicken Wings which was ok

It's pretty good as Wetherspoons go. It's a decent size, plenty of seating. Outdoor seating at the front of the building and more upstairs in the sun terrace, some of which is covered. Staff are friendly and helpful, service was quick and good was nice and hot. Toilets are clean.

Having frequented the other wetherspoon in Bromley, I find this pub to be poky and with little charm. Service was slow, there was no ambience, it smelt of stale alcohol and everything seemed dirty. I couldn't wait to leave. I did not eat food here, but there was a dining area which looked better than the drinking area. Having said all this, with some work, I believe this place could be made to feel intimate, and charming, I love the fact that this building has a big part in Bromleys history, and it's well located, I really just wanted to clear it out and give the whole place a refit and a…
