This is a pleasant and surprisingly large street corner pub in the back streets of Islington. Originally called the Hanbury Arms. It has recently been taken over by True Pub Co., refurbished and re-opened in October 2020. It has up to 4 Real Ale Taps and 3 Rotating Craft Beer taps along with a range of world & premium beers.
It now also boasts a brand new open kitchen serving up traditional pub classics and Sunday roasts. Bottomless Brunch from 11am-3pm on Saturdays and roasts every Sunday from 12pm-6pm. Quiz every Thu. Now an accredited member of CAMRA's LocAle scheme.

I cannot thank the team at The Hanbury enough! I booked the dining room space for a birthday party on a Friday night from 7pm to closing and they were spectacular. Super easy email communication to set it up, reasonable deposit, incredible flexibility with catering, and throughout the night Phil and all the other staff were so on top of things. The dining room area is perfect for a party of about 30-45 people, private with seating and standing room. One of the best pubs in London. Tucked away amongst old victorian houses, this pub has an excellent chef and kitchen- the food is fantastic. Plenty beers on tap. Live music. Shows the sport. Could this be the perfect pub?!

The Hanbury in Hoxton is a proper gem of a pub. The staff are wonderful. The beer is great, plenty of cask and keg. Big screens showing sport. There is also a superb selection of literary cameos around the place. I love this pub. There is also a wonderful menu to satiate your hunger. Super!!!

Love this spot. Tucked into a nice neighborhood right off New North. Great pub to watch a match, grab a roast, or pop in with friends for a pint or three. Cozy and friendly staff as well with live music from time to time.

Went to the Irish trad night they do every Tuesday and absolutely loved it. Such a warm and special atmosphere. Good pints and the staff was great. Such a hidden gem!
