About Old Toms Bar
Atmospheric cellar bar with 19th-century tiled walls, offering craft beers and artisan bites.
Tiny bar under the Lamb Tavern and in the same management, in florid late Victorian Ledenhall Market. The name (see painted legend) is from a gander which escaped slaughter and became a familiar local figure. The brick vaults and utilitarian clean and green tiles lend credence to the belief that this may be the very place of slaughter before display of poultry in butchers shops above. Painted glass shows former use as a bar. Available for hire.

Delightfully odd cosy place. Down steep steps to a sort of circular warren of rooms. A small fridge with 10 or cheeses. Fair selection of whiskies. Coves with chairs, tables and benches. And lots of references to a duck. As you do….

We walked into this cute little place in Leadenhall market and we had some excellent cheese and charcuterie as well as wine. If your into whiskeys and scotch they have a quite a long list. The customer service and vibes were excellent.

A favourite watering hole, a lot people will want to be outside but dip into Tom's and you will be surprised by the respite it gives from the noise of Leadenhall Market. Service is really good.
