About Prince Albert (Rose's)
Behind a narrow Victorian frontage lies a bright room, welcoming, homely and carpeted, with traditional dark wood tables and panelling. For many years a regular Good Beer Guide entry. Towards the back is a mural of the Woolwich ferry. Darts and cribbage leagues play, and there is occasional live music. The long bar has 6 handpumps but only a few of them are in use these days. Under new management since November 2022.

This is one of the old original pubs of Woolwich, pity it's off the beaten track more people should visit this treasure of a pub. Connie is your Hostess, a lovely young Woman with a pleasant personality who makes you feel at home 😉

Good pub. £4.20 for a pint of Fosters. Real locals community pub. Pretty old decor. Darts board is there. A few books on the shelf. Pub quiz one night. TV with sport on. Decent enough place with friendly people in it.

First impression. Old Pub. Staff welcoming and chatty. Customer next to me, he started chatting and made me feel really welcome to the Rose and the area. Random side. Their is a parrot in pub, iguana and a Original Steven Gerard football boot. Reasonable prices, and a few real ales. yes I would visit again if in area. Reason for 5 is its Randomness of everything good. THANKS

Wonderful pub situated on Hare Street Woolwich SE18. A traditional pub with a great selection of beer, real ale, spirits, all at a reasonable price. Weekly Meat raffle Sundays, Quiz night On a Thursday, Shows live sports coverage. Occasional functions. Wood panelling and artwork of the Woolwich Ferry on the wall. Staff are Welcoming and Atmosphere is great.
