About Salt Woolwich
A bar and pizzeria which opened in October 2015, originally linked with Hop Stuff Brewery and later Molson Coors when Hop Stuff ceased operating, which was then acquired by Salt Beer Factory in November 2021. Cask ale, from Ossett Brewery, was re-introduced following the takeover. There is also an extensive range of keg and canned craft beers and also cider, wine and spirits. The pizzas also feature ingredients from many local suppliers. The bar is downstairs in a low ceiling-ed room with bare brick walls and uncovered ventilation ducts. A spiral staircase leads to a further seating area with tables for dining too. Card payment preferred.
2 handpumps remain and for a while in 2023 no cask ale was sold. Cask ale is now being sold here again.

Good atmosphere, there were games available for you to play while you were waiting for food or just to have a fun evening. They have a good selection of craft beer to choose from. The cocktail options were quite limited. The wing portion size was quite generous. We opted to go for the carne pizza, the base felt quite weak in my opinion but the pizza overall was quite delicious.

Nice spot selling craft beers. Did not get a chance to sample the food. Really wanted wings, but they were out. Craft beers were good. I had the stout. Seating availableupstairs, downstairs and outside.

Great place. Wide selection of beers and proper pizza. Very lively. Been there on Saturday afternoon and the outside terrace was full, but you'll find your place quickly. Inside is very nice and the toilets are spotless.

SALT is my favourite bar in the Royal Arsenal, and there are quite a few of them in the area. It’s not the cheapest place to go, but you will enjoy a wide selection of beers, including Salt’s own selection and a frequently changing rotation of guest beers, all of which a re unique and very tasty indeed (they will let you try before you buy, obviously). The food menu is pizza-based with snacky stuff and lots of choice. Although they fall slightly short of other stonebaked options available in town, the pizzas are really, really good for a pub; I personally recommend the Carne or the N’duja…

Before watching Punchdrunk show we have our dinner here. Excellent choice indeed. The pizza is delicious with the IPA. No complaint at all🤣🤣🤣
