About Dial Arch

Atmospheric old munitions factory turned dining room and terrace pub serving cask ales.

Situated in the former Royal Arsenal complex dating from 1720, this spacious pub is divided into a number of rooms of varying sizes furnished with an interesting mix of historic objects and pictures. The long bar has four handpumps and a generous selection of bottles behind it. The menu has an eclectic gastro vibe and bar snacks are available for a quick nibble. The large patio at the front is beautiful on a summer's evening, when there is little better than sitting with a pint and watching the sun set. Close to river transport into Central London.

The building's atmosphere and furnishings are very cool. I have been here several times with my family, and it was almost always full in the evenings, but we found a place anyway. The food is delicious, most of the time - as I'm not English - we eat the traditional fish and chips. (In June, I ate tomato soup, which was more of a sauce, but the other dishes were still fair.) I think, the service fee is very high, there are usually five of us. Next time I will be traveling to Woolwich in October, it is likely that I will be their guest again. Worth a try!!!

When at Royal Arsenal I often pop into Dial Arch for a drink and something to eat. My favourite is their veggie burger but on this occasion, a hot sunny day, I just wanted to quench a thirst with a coke on ice under one of their sun parasols The staff are never engaging but service is prompt and courteous, even when I’m only buying a soft drink. The interior is spacious and welcoming and outside is great for chilling.

Had a small Wedding brunch for 20 people here and the food, service and atmosphere was amazing! The service ahead of the day was great, easy to book, great communication from Katherine. On the day Paula and the staff were amazing, service was great, the food was excellent and would highly recommend. Location is excellent as well.

Was here watching the football (Euros 2024 - Englandddd winning on penalties!!!!) Nonetheless, got lucky with space without booking (would advise to book in advance to sit inside) Chimichurri steak 2x 8oz with fries to share was amazing! (Not sure the description "To share" fits correctly as i could easily finish as one person £34!) Bit on the pricey side for food wise but expected given the location, friend ordered the fish and chips nice chargrill lemon?. Nice bar with plenty of options and QR code on table to scan to avoid queuing for your pint. Not sure if its as busy usually without the…
