About Rose & Crown
Lively locals' pub with a community ethos, live music & comedy, plus a short, innovative bar menu.
This pub is quite unique in the immediate area. Started life as the Rose and Crown, built in the 1930s for Watney Combe Reid, it was demolished and rebuilt in 1937, the building nestles between terraced houses. For decades it served as an off-licence, then traded as The Torriano for a number of years with the licensees fighting hard to stop the pub being closed. It did close in 2014 but only briefly and it has re-opened under its original name.
Truly a community local tavern, the single island bar is surrounded by the original slate floor. To the rear and down some stairs is a small heated outdoor seating area known locally as an 'urban garden'. A real coal fire adds to the relaxed nature of the pub and its clientèle. 8 taps on rotation, 1 cask (the other handpump had Thistly Cross cider) and 6 keg. Weekly Comedy shows, and free event space for hire. Note this pub should not be confused with the former Torriano pub in nearby Leighton Road, which is now a block of residential flats.
Payment by card only.

Lovely pub. The beer's good, there's always a warm welcome and the food is fantastic. Dinner is always great here. It's actually bigger than it looks from the outside but its quite cosy with a nice atmosphere. They also have a decent garden. Quite a few places at this end of Ealing but the Rose and Crown is definitely the best of them.

Nice and cozy small pub. Big diversity of sofas, chairs and armchairs (they have good option of an armchair if you're a new mum and need to feed your baby). Good selection of games for a big company. Didn't like the food though (no healthy options, small portions, didn't worth the money, not cheap). No baby changing facilities.

Decent pub with indoor and outdoor seating areas, a good selection of booze which is hosted regularly, friendly staff and atmosphere. There is also a deal with a local pizza place where you can order food to the pub with no delivery fee and eat in with your booze.

Beers are okay for a craft beer style pub. Expect £7-10 a pint. But do expect an eye roll and rude reception if you dare to ask to try a bit of any of the beers before spending that money. We were here for the two als, sandwiches were good but took over 45 minutes. Thank you for your response, i’ll have to reply like this as google wont let me respond to your reply as a string. We were there around 7pm 6/6/24. I wont be returning any time soon but thank you for the offer of a pint. Tom

Voted as best local pub 2018 in Time Out! It is the best! Don't forget to try their awesome food together with their craft beers. Great energy and positive vibes, love this place!
