About Muswell Hillbilly Taproom

On a vist on 6 October they had Muswell Hillbilly Bowes Park Pale Ale on cask. Their intention is to have a cask ale on regularly (dispensed in similar manner to that seen at festivals) either one of their own or a guest beer.

Able to have a chat with them and what we understand is cask may be brewed occasionally where they can anticipate a high demand. Their tap room in Bowes Park has still to open. May be a month away.

Brewery Taproom. Up to five keg lines from MHB and two guests. Muswell Hillbilly Brewers are a microbrewery "who aim to share our love of making and drinking good beer. Our beers have distinctive flavours and contain locally sourced ingredients, including our own N10 hops. We currently produce bottle conditioned craft beer, cask and kegged real ales, selling mainly in Muswell Hill, Alexandra Palace and Wood Green.

We now also run a Tap Room in Avenue Mews where we have our own and other local beers on tap, our full range in bottles to drink in or take away and a fine range of wines, spirits and soft drinks."

I’m part of the local community and this place was funded by investors from our neighbourhood. It’s meant to benefit the whole community with music, food and events. I’ve been to Step three times and never been able to access the garden because of private events. I wish them good luck but please make sure the community can access all the premises especially as many of the the locals have invested in this project. Not a good start , people are complaining and negative whispers are plenty. Please make sure we can use the facilities on a regular basis and not rent them out to the highest…

Great little microbrewery located in the heart of Muswell Hill. This is a true Micro - room for about 10-15 people inside, and sporadic selection of beers depending on what is being brewed at the time. Pints are about a Fiver, and present great value. The staff a super friendly, and happy to chat about what they are brewing. Little record player in the corner playing tunes and hops on the ceiling complete the aesthetic. A must visit if you are a craft beer fan, and your new favourite if you are local to the area.

Lovely little micro brewery with great beer, friendly staff and a good atmosphere. A hidden gem!

Great ramshackle taproom bar tucked away in a mews behind the busy Muswell Hill Broadway. Decent choice of exciting beers and great obscure vinyl playing when I visited. Recommended!
