About White Horse
Spacious, low-ceilinged pub with wooden floors, mismatched tables and an 'edible' beer garden.
This was one of Fuller's earliest attempts at a 'gastro-pub' when it was refurbished in 1996 and laid out in a cafe-bar style. It has certainly established a good reputation for its food. There is plenty of seating. Open Mic Night Sunday evening and Thursday is Quiz night from 8pm. Sunday lunchtimes are busy serving Sunday roasts. Large function room available. The pub can be easily missed tucked away in a side road from the more prominent Red Cow.
The pub is now under new independent management from November 2023 – Ben Abrahams and Christian Arden.

After an awful meal a few weeks back, served cold and bland plus overpriced for a turkey roast with no trimmings, told the waiter, plates removed for 10 minutes had to ask for them to be returned, no apology or explanation. We had a lunch here today, service was chaotic, food poor kids meals were served without cutlery, as they had run out of forks, waited 5 minutes. No one serving behind the bar for a considerable time. Public were joking ‘is it self service’. Not sure what’s happened to The White Horse as used to be a great Pub and a firm favourite, hope it can resolve the issues it’s…

Lovely little pub in Richmond. Not far from the town centre. The food was lovely, we had roasts. My only complaint is that there could have been a little more food, or at least more gravy! Roasts should be big and hearty. Still, my wellington was delicious.

My favourite pub in London!! The staff are so welcoming, the food is bar none and the atmosphere is so warm, welcoming and festive over the holiday season. Definitely come in on a Sunday for a roast and enjoy the magnificent Christmas decorations - don’t change a thing White Horse, you’re perfect.

I highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a great time! My university alumni UK group went there yesterday and we had an amazing experience. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was also very nice. I will definitely be returning to this pub in the future.
